I love reading and can't imagine going anywhere without a book and post-it flags.

My actual diploma is a MLitt, which is a research degree. I teach if I have to (and I have to), but research is my real passion. Happiness is to have books spread everywhere on piles I understand but no one else does, which is funny because I am the most well-organized person in the world.

In 2010 I created an educational program to help children from low-income families reach their full academic potential. That is my other passion. I'm a firm believer that if I have the ability to do something that can help another person, then it is my obligation to do so, not a choice.

I haven't yet learned to write short essays. My work is complex and my texts are rich. Quick explanations are not my forte and I would never have a career in Marketing... Not to mention my social skills are lacking, so I live very comfortably while hidden behind a computer where people are unaware that I have a stutter.

My glasses are always dirty, Ser Duncan the Tall is my all-time favourite book character, coffee makes me happy and I am eternally in love with magic - top hat, tail coat and all that jazz...
